  1. Do I need to exfoliate?
Exfoliation is key to seeing the best results with any serum, as to get rid of any dead skin cells which may form a barrier, keeping the serum from penetrating deep into the layers of skin.
  2. How often should I exfoliate?
Depending on your age, you should be exfoliating 2-3 times a week (younger skin needing less exfoliating than more mature skin.)
  3. How much serum should I use?
It's important to note that our serums are potent and can dry out the skin if too much is used. Just a thin layer is all that's needed.
  4. When using both the Vitamin C Serum and Hyaluronic Acid Serum, should I use both at the same time or one in the morning and one in the evening?
Yes, you are supposed to use both serums at the same time, however, do not mix them in the palm of your hand. After cleansing and exfoliating the skin, (exfoliation is to be done at least twice a week), you will apply the Vitamin C Serum first, and allow to dry for several minutes. Next, apply the Hyaluronic Acid Serum and allow to dry for several minutes, and lastly apply your moisturizer and eye treatment. Also, nighttime is the best time for use, as skin repairs itself while you sleep.
  5. How quickly should I be seeing results with the HA and Vitamin C Serums?
The effects you should be seeing at 2-3 weeks is a better texture, tone, glow, with a more moisturized and plump feeling to the skin. Skin care products can take at least a month to start showing any results, and if the skin is more mature then it will take longer. These serums also stimulate collagen growth over time, with age and skin conditions playing a factor as to how quickly you will see those changes. Your skin did not become damaged and age overnight, therefore, your skin care products will not correct these issues overnight.

  1. How are these serums able to penetrate deeper below the surface than other skin care products?
Serums are molecularly structured to penetrate deep into the pores and layers of the skin, which is why they've become such an important part of the skincare regime.
  2. Are the Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid serums compatible with retinol or Retin-A?
Our serums are a great combination with Retin-A or retinol moisturizers. These products heavily exfoliate the skin, and prepare the ground work for these serums to take full effect. If using Retin-A you should apply your serum first, then the Retin-A, then your moisturizer. When using a moisturizer with retinol, apply the serum first, then your retinol moisturizer afterwards.
  3. In what order should I be applying my other skin care products with my serums?
    1. Cleanse Skin
    2. Exfoliate Skin, pat dry.
    3. Tone skin, allow to dry.
    4. Apply a thin layer of serum, allow to dry.
    5. Moisturize skin.
  4. Are you affiliated with Dr. Oz?
No, OZNaturals is not affiliated with Dr. Oz in any way. The name OZNaturals originates from the abbreviation for the word "Ounce."

You can easily track the package from within your Amazon account by following the steps outlined below:
    1. Login to your Amazon account
    2. Hover your mouse over the text area that says "Hello (name) Your Account"
    3. Click on "Your Orders" in the drop down menu that appears

This will show you exactly where the package is.
  4. Can I make my own serums at home?
Serums are only effective on the skin if they're cold processed. If not done correctly, the mixture won't be as effective as a true serum made for the skin. You must also be careful when calculating the mixtures to know the correct amount of ingredients. If you use too much or too little of something you risk the opposite effect, which can actually dry your skin rather than provide moisturization, as the mixture would be too weak or too potent. Also, serums are molecularly designed to penetrate deep into the dermis of your skin...beyond the epidermis (the first few layers of skin). A homemade mixture will merely sit on the surface of the skin, and do very little to help moisturize or combat the signs of aging.
  5. Is your Vitamin C serum of high quality?
Our Vitamin C Serum is of the highest quality C Serums on the market, and we put it up against other popular brands like Obagi and Perricone. In fact, many of our customers have left reviews stating they like our C Serum over both Obagi and Perricone. Of course, because everyone's skin is different some brands may work better for some people than others. Also, our serums are created in a state-of-the-art, FDA-certified facility, with years of testing and research to ensure our products are potent and made from extremely, high quality natural ingredients.

  1. Why does OZNaturals choose to use Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate instead of L Ascorbic Acid?
Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate is proven to be much more stable, and have a higher bioavailability than L Ascorbic Acid. While historically lab tests stated that LAA was the best form of Vitamin C serum for your skin, BASF scientists now show newer test results discounting those findings. LAA is highly unstable and will lose its potency very quickly unless mixed with harsh preservatives. Our superior SAP formulation is so much more stable and potent than LAA that we provide a guaranteed 2 year shelf life without any harsh preservatives. This is something no other Vitamin C serum can currently provide. Also, Our Vitamin C is made weekly in fresh batches, so there is no chance that your bottle has lost any potency. On average our bottles sit less than 7 days before being purchased.
  2. How long do your serums last?
Our serums are good for up to 2 years from the date of purchase. Our lab makes our serums fresh on a daily basis, and because of the natural preservatives used there is absolutely no need to be concerned about the serum oxidizing or going bad. However, when storing your serum you do need to make sure it remains in a cool, dry place, away from direct heat and sunlight. Also, make sure you leave the dropper closed tightly.
  3. Why does your Vitamin C serum not tingle?
The tingling feeling some serums provide doesn't necessarily come from the Vitamin C nor does a tingling feel mean that the Vitamin C is more potent. Our Vitamin C serum is mixed with the most effective ingredients on the market. We choose to use an aloe base instead of water, and never add any alcohol (as most competitors use). This is why our Vitamin C goes on so smoothly, yet penetrates deep into your dermis to provide maximum benefits, without stinging or tingling.
  4. What is MSM?
MSM or Methylsulfonylmethane is found naturally in primitive plants, is present in small amounts in many foods and beverages, and is marketed as a dietary and beauty supplement. It's a nutrient that is found in well known superfoods such as broccoli, cabbage and brussel sprouts. All of us here at OZNaturals love this ingredient for many reasons, but mostly because of its anti-inflammatory effects. It's also great for helping skin cells retain their pliability and flexibility. In addition it makes the skin smoother and more hydrated.
  5. Is your Hyaluronic Acid Serum supposed to be a thicker consistency with bubbles?
Yes, the Hyaluronic Acid Serum will be slightly thick with bubbles, and also has a cloudy appearance instead of perfectly clear.

  1. Should I be using your serums in the morning or at night?
You may apply our serums both morning and evening if you wish. Just make sure your skin is clean and exfoliated before applying. However, those with sensitive skin should only start out using once a day, which should be nighttime. Your skin heals itself during sleep, therefore, serums should always be used before bedtime.
  2. What is the percentage strength of your Hyaluronic Acid Serum?
The HA concentration level is 5%, and comprises 50% of the entire formula of ingredients.
  3. What is the percentage strength of your Vitamin C serum?
The Vitamin C serum is a 20% strength of Vitamin C, and comprises more than 50% of the entire formula of ingredients.
  4. Can I use your products if I'm pregnant or breast feeding?
While our products contain 98% natural and 72% organic ingredients, you should probably ask your doctor. Some doctors have differing opinions when it comes to natural products. They'll tell you to stay away from something that seems totally harmless and natural, but not say anything against parabens, pabas, and propolyne gylcol…which is in almost every product on the market. However, to be on the safe side check with your doctor first.
  5. Do I need to refrigerate my serum?
While it's not necessary, you can absolutely refrigerate your serum. Some people do it for a nice, cool feeling as they apply it to their skin. The serum has a shelf life of two years, as long as you keep it out of direct heat and sunlight.

  1. Can I use your Hyaluronic Acid Serum as an injectable?
No, this HA serum is not to be injected into the skin, and could be very dangerous if one injected it rather than using as a topical. Injectables undergo a different process, and the sterilization in which it is packaged is not even the same. You could suffer from an infection from injecting something that was not meant to be used in that way. Definitely leave injections to the physicians who are trained and certified to do so. Also, OZNaturals does not sell injectables. If you are considering having injectables performed on your skin, please go to a doctor's office who specializes in this field. This is a very involved process that one should never administer on themselves unless they are trained and certified.
  2. What is the difference between the Vitamin C Serum and the Hyaluronic Acid Serum?
The Vitamin C serum helps protects skin from free radical damage, helps with cell turnover, gives skin better tone, helps with discoloration of skin, and gives a brighter appearance to the skin. The HA serum is designed for super hydration, also aids in collagen production, and gives the skin a more supple and soft appearance.
